How much DHA, or Omega-3 Fatty Acids, should I have in my diet each week?

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), American Heart Association, and the American Diabetic Association (ADA) all recommend two 8 ounce servings of fish per week. However, many of the studied benefits of DHA for preventing disease find the benefits are best if you have 2-5 grams per day of DHA in your diet – a level that is not achieved with just two 8oz servings a week.
