Does a normal result promise health?

Having “normal” results is an indicator that you have generally good health, but it is not a guarantee that illness or disease may not occur in the future. Lab values can remain within the normal reference range for some time before becoming abnormal, which it is not uncommon to do routine testing for markers of interest. We always recommend sharing the results with your healthcare provider and ask them about how often you should be testing.
