How do I test myself with Everlywell’s at-home STD test?

Our at-home STD Test was designed to be as convenient, and user-friendly, as possible. All of our kits include thorough, yet easy-to-follow instructions on how to collect your own sample from the comfort of your own home.

For the STD Test - Female, a blood spot sample is collected by using a finger-prick lancet, and a vaginal swab sample is collected by using a sterile swab. For STD Test - Male, a blood spot sample and urine sample will be required. 

Single marker tests— HIV, Syphilis, and Hepatitis C will require a blood spot sample, whereas Trichomoniasis Test and Chlamydia & Gonorrhea Test will require a urine sample. This is for both males and females.

Once collected, you will use the prepaid shipping label inside the kit to return the sample to a CLIA-certified and CAP-accredited laboratory. Once the lab processes your sample, results will be available on your Everlywell dashboard within 3-5 days.
