What does “No Cancer Signal Detected” mean for my current risk of having a cancer? What about my future risk?
A “No Cancer Signal Detected” result means cancer-associated signals were not identified in your blood at the time of testing. Caris Detect analyzes molecular signals in cell-free DNA in your blood for specific cancer patterns that are associated with various cancer types. This result does not completely rule out the presence of cancer now and does not provide insight into future cancer development. Some cancers may not release detectable signals into the bloodstream, and not all cancers can be detected by blood-based testing. This test does not replace routine cancer screening or diagnostic evaluation as clinically indicated.
